About African Network of Professionals

African Network of Professionals was founded as a virtual global network of African professionals, intellectuals, scholars and other eminent persons working together to develop themselves professionally and hence build a vibrant, prosperous, united and stronger Africa. ANoP is the membership arm of African Biographical Centre.

Interpretation and Definitions

Account: A unique account created for you to access our Service and become a member of ANoP.

Application: Refers to Anop, the software program provided by the Company.

As the membership arm of African Biographical Centre, ANoP members who enlist may have their biographical information included in various ABC publications, including but not limited to:

  • Current African Scholars
  • Eminent African Scientists
  • Outstanding African Administrators
  • Prominent African Politicians
  • Who's Who in Africa
  • Erudite African Women

These biographical directories are published to recognize outstanding men and women through publication of their deeds without racial, religious or political bias. ABC does not charge any fee whatsoever for the publication of your biography, and you are not under obligation to buy a copy of the publication.

Data Sharing and Distribution

Your biographical information may be shared in the following ways:

  • Publication in ABC biographical directories held in major libraries of Africa and other parts of the world
  • Inclusion in the ANoP membership directory accessible to other members
  • Display on member profiles within the ANoP platform for professional networking purposes
  • Sharing with other ANoP members for collaboration and networking
  • Presentation at the Congress of African Professionals and other ANoP events

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Information is shared only to fulfill ANoP's mission of promoting African professionals and facilitating professional development.

Free Services and No Financial Obligation

In accordance with ANoP and ABC policies:

  • Membership in ANoP is completely free
  • Publication of biographical entries is free
  • You are never under any obligation to purchase publications
  • Free services include email account, personal website, and technical support
  • Access to professional resources and networking is provided at no cost

Please note that removal from already published biographical directories may take additional time and may not be possible for archived print publications.

Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
